Half-way through the recording

I'm now half-way through the recording. There have been various re-writes over the weekend (yes, still re-working sentences and phrases) and I was also busy with other stuff, namely preparing the hardback of U&F for print release. That's ready to go, but it's going to be expensive. I'll keep you posted.

Hehe, seriously though, I can't find a way to subscribe to new posts, didn't you usually link new entries on Facebook?

Could you define what you mean by expensive, aren't hardback books normally around £20 ish?

Of course, I imagine self-publishing would be more expensive than that, can you give a round figure?

  2. The "subscribe to posts" button is in the top of the right-hand column of this blog, Lisa. Look to the right of this post then scoll up. You'll need a feeds reader thing, though. I've been using Netvibes since iGoogle was taken down, and I like it. As for the book, it costs £27.99. Lulu won't let me sell it at less than £25.78 (that's cost price plus their profit margin). And if I want to make any profit from Amazon sales, I have to push it up to around £35. But if people buy directly from Lulu, I can take 20% off and bring it back down closer to the base price, and still make some profit for myself. So while it's a lot, I can't really get it much lower. Here's a link: http://www.lulu.com/shop/mike-bennett/underwood-and-flinch/hardcover/product-21742664.html The paperback is much more affordable at £12.74 because it's not on sale at Amazon http://www.lulu.com/shop/mike-bennett/underwood-and-flinch/paperback/product-21746569.html
