Bram Stoker's Dracula. Chapter One.
I'm returning to free podcasting with the first chapter of Bram Stoker's Dracula. I've been reading it at Patreon for a while where I'm now up to Chapter Ten.
I hope to get some other stuff out to you as well as Dracula in the coming weeks and months, but for now, click the player below to play Chapter One, and click here to add my RSS feed to your podcast app and get new episodes as soon as they go live.

UFU 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 28, and 30 - now at Patreon
Doh! Once again I have let my blog / website slide, and I realise that news of no less than seven episodes of Underwood and Flinch Underground haven't been posted here. Sorry about that, I guess it's the commentless world of Blogger that makes me forget this is - potentially - a thing people look at. Anyway, I'm renewing my pledge to start posting again. I'm going to start treating this like the blog it is and start posting stuff about what goes on in my life, no matter how pedestrian or unremarkable it may be. But that's all to look forward to. For now, it's enough to say that Underwood and Flinch Underground Episode 30 went live this evening at Patreon ($3 a month) and I think it's one you'll really enjoy.
And in blog news, I had a pasta-pesto meal for dinner, which was very nice. And my freezer has a lot of frozen comfrey in it, which I use on my fractured finger. The finger is most likely healed by now, but it's still got a very swollen knuckle that the comfrey seems to be bringing down ... or maybe it's just time doing the mending without help, I don't know. But I like to think the comfrey is playing a part.

Appearance in the local press.
I got a mention in the local Wexford newspaper, the Wexford People.
If you saw the piece and have navigated here to check out my wares, click here or on the tab above headed "Podcast Audio Books" for links to all my free podcasts and audio books, including the post-apocalytic zombie story After the Plague and my vampire novel series Underwood and Flinch. Happy listening :-)

Herbert West and Azathoth enter The Vault of Lovecraft
Just a quick note to let you know that Herbert West: Reanimator (full text) and Azathoth by H.P. Lovecraft have entered the Vault of Lovecraft (that's the new podcast with all the readings I've done since 2007 in it, just in case you missed my previous blog entry).
Cthulhu suggests in the politest possible manner that you share news of the Vault with any of your Lovecraft-loving chums. Link to it on Facebook, Twitter, What'sApp or whatever other social media device you use. Otherwise mankind will be destroyed ... he says.

For some time (years) I've been meaning to put all my HP Lovecraft recordings in one place. I'm now in the process of doing so. Nine stories up so far, including the full length recording of The Colour out of Space. Click here to enter the Vault of Lovecraft
Artwork on all the stories is by Jon Cape. Music by The Laughing End, David Beard, and Andrew Rothman.
